UNDER THE STARS SERIES

My fascination with stars, constellations and galaxies lead me to explore night photography. While researching the best places to shoot the night sky, I learned about International Dark Sky Places, which are remote locations possessing an exceptional quality of starry nights. I chose to explore New Mexico’s night sky for this series. I live in Dallas, Texas and do not have the opportunity to view many stars in the sky because of the city light pollution. The most wonderful part of this experience was viewing the infinite number of stars illuminating the sky. It was an awe inspiring, spiritual experience.
